A'kum...

Hmmm...lama giler tak menulis....to be honest (kan tgh puasa..so be honest la..hehehe)...i'm just lazy and also...don't know what to write.

So i'm writting today is just to wish everyone...Selamat Berpuasa....

This year will be Batu Pahat turn to celebrate raya. So, we'll be going back probably by Thursday or Wednesday night...at least we'll get a day of fasting there with the family.

Let me see....what will the menu be for the first day of Raya?....maybe we'll discuss it with the girls....clueless...:(

The topic with the girls would probably be more about the wedding in December rather than whats cooking for Raya...hahahaha...oh well...what ever it is we decide....the one dish i wish we'll have will be arwah Mak's sambal goreng...even thou i know i can cook it anytime i want too but i decided that it'll be the dish cooked only on raya...part of remembering arwah Mak....

It's been long since the last time i went back to Batu pahat, if i'm not mistaken, its during Eli's engagement day....i think...not sure, maybe i did went back once more after that but that was like more then 5 months ago...so looking forward to go back this Raya...hehehe...

I know Mamat won't be reading this...but...Mamat..nanti jangan nakal2 sgt yerk....

Langkawi....after 1 month...

Hi all,

Sorry for the late update. Its been a busy weekend and a lazy week days to update my blog. As usual our trip to Langkawi is excellent and relaxing especially since it is a 5 days and 4 nights trip. As mention before, we stayed at Kg. Tok Senik, Federal Villa and one more we didn't mention before coz it was never plan, Malibest.

What can i say about Kg Tok Senik?

First of all, we are not sure if it is because we went during weekdays and not a school holiday, the place is nearly empty, we only got 1 neighbor and they are not even near us. So as u can imagine, being nearly the only visitor there, it is a very quite place. It is very nice and serene during the day but at night?.....it's kind of scary outside. Maybe because of lack in visitors, they didn't switch on all the street light making some of the area kind of dark. So when one of the night when we got back to our chalet and my hubby forgot to switch on the porch light back on, u can't imagine how dark it was. We use our car to brighten the area so that it's not that dark.

The chalet itself is ok. it's kind of old but that was the purpose i think, to make it look like a village house. The bathroom is good. I like the shower...you know, the round big type, its kind of like you're bathing in the rain. The bed and pillow are great. A lot of internal lighting. The only thing that both of us was uneasy about is the noise at night.

The first night is not a good one for me coz there is this repeating noise every half an hour. My hubby said maybe its a mechanical thing they install to make it sound like we're in a forest but still its too loud and i can't sleep well. The next morning, we ask the reception what it was and told them that if it is mechanical, please switch it off. Apparently, it is not mechanical stuff, it is some kind of lizard or something which make that noise and they can't do anything about it coz it only happens at night and they can't find them since its too dark to look for it (even Kerel was uneasy to smoke outside of the chalet due to the darkness...heheheh). So we just have to bare with it on the 2nd night.

The so call buffet breakfast. I really hope it is because of the season coz if it is this what the call buffet breakfast, the gonna loose a lot of customer during breakfast. When we got to the 'warung' (can't remember the name) there was only one chinese family there. when i look around, there was no table with a spread of food....only empty tables. We thought it was over but when we ask, they say it is still available. We sit and the waiter came with a menu, on it is a few sets of breakfast from 'nasi lemak', 'meehoon goreng' to 'american breakfast'. So we ordered. Apparently it is kind of like ala carte buffet. Bummer......well, what to do...just eat la...hahahahha

The first few days we drove around, we nearly covered the whole island. We went to places that we never visited before like the 'Galeri Perdana' and we also went to places which we haven't been too for a long time like the Underwater world. We planned on a boating trip, a mangrove trip, we keep postponing it due to rain, waiting for people and all, we ended up not going. Maybe next time. What we really wanted was the trip to 'Pulau Beras Besar' ( i think) but it will cost us RM350 for a boat to go there hmmmm.....maybe next time when there's more people, we can go for that trip. Actually we can go there by joining the 'Island Hopping' and it will only costs us RM80 for 2 person but if we do that, it will only be 1 hour stop and we don't want that, we wanted to stay there longer. So that will be in our next trip planning.

The next place we stayed was Federal Villa, nothing changes here except for a new request the hotel posted in the room wall. Its written.....please do not bring out side food and drinks. It's not a regulation but out of respect to the hotel request. We were like...WHAT?...are they crazy? The cheapest drink u can get from the menu is Coke and it will cost u RM8 and the cheapest food is French fries RM13...so imagine if u have a certain budget or a lot of kids?...well too bad, not that we don't respect the request but we have to be realistic, we bought some drinks and food in, no choice.

The last place we stayed called Malibest. We never planned to stay here but since we can't get an extension of time at Federal Villa even thou we wanted to pay for it, we check out and check in malibest. It's because our flight is at 10.30pm. The place is nice but we were given the old chalet so the toilet is kind of run-down but....the beach is nice but crowded in the evening....oh well....its only for a few hours so its ok.

Eating places.....we ate at places we've been too the last time and also new places. The one i remember the most is the one that our cousin Din took us to, ' 3 layer tea' i can't remember the name of the mamak shop but i can still remember the taste of the tea. Its the best so far. The tea is made of tea...of course....milk and 'gula Melaka'.....yummy......and then there's this one restaurant we went to for lunch in 'Pantai Cenang', its the opposite of Underwater World, the spread looks and taste good...they even have big sea prawns (which is a must for me...heheh) and the price is actually very reasonable. The best part is when we ask the owner if he just open the shop (coz it wasn't there last year when we were there...) and he said, no, he opened that place since 9 years ago, only now people can actually 'see' his place....u know what i mean...hehehhe...bad isn't it...what human can do to another human...

And the compulsory eating place for us...the 'Tomato cafe' we actually ate there twice and as before, the food and desert is delicious...:)

Galeri Perdana......hmm....i wonder how much they spend to build this building...its not very big but enough to make u tired by the time u finish the whole visit....the interior of this buiding is exceptional....beautiful...out of this world ceiling or should i called it dome......its breath taking...the moment u look up...u won't look down anymore....its just beautiful...they did a good job on that place...every corner u go even the corridors....its design in such a way that people will stay focus and admire the details. We actually loose interest on the item displayed...hehehhe...talking about the items...Dr M sure got a lot of stuff....im sure those they got there are only part of it.....a lot of things in every kind of form....from local products to international...he even got a horse carriage as a present....hehehe...lucky man huh...

Well...what else...sight seing...shopping...eating...and...relaxing...thats about it and yes thats what we intended to do anyway...relaxing....forget about work load and other problems...just enjoy and relax...

Langkawi Trip 2010 - April 19th.

Yes.....we are going to Langkawi again. After considering time, cost, facilities and activities.....we decided Langkawi is still the best place for us to go...Perhentian, Redang and Tioman cost a bit more and its really good if u do diving / snorkeling and i for one, don't do neither one of them, so...Langkawi it is.

For now the plan is on the 19th of April 2010. We went to Matta fair on the 13th March and manage to find the same travel agency which we used last year...Pangsajaya. Since their service is sufficient for us, we decided to use them again but this time we took 2 packages. Why?...well because my hubby and i felt that 3D and 2N is too short, so this year, we took 5D and 4N. So instead of extending nights in one hotel, we decided to take 2 hotels package. (cost wise, its almost the same as extending...) and we have to pay extra for car rental...and breakfast....so another package is much cheaper.

So, this time we are going to stay first at Kg Tok Senik, which is in the centre of Langkawi. It is a resort with village style of architecture. (I'll post some photos later). We'll be staying there for 3D2N starting on the 19th and check out on the 21st noon and after that, we'll check in Federal Villa (again.....heheheheh...coz its a nice place to stay...really...well for us its nice for that price) and check out on the 23rd and fly back home on the same night.

This 2 packages consist of the usual car and Island hoping each, but the car is only for 1 day for each package and not the whole trip like last time. So we manage to nego. with the agent and get the car for the whole trip minus the island hoping, besides, if we decided to do the Island hoping, we can still do it by buying the package at the jetty. So for now, no Island hoping, we did it last year anyway.

This year we are thinking of doing the 'mangrove ride'. We saw some interesting packages in the internet. The place is called 'Kilim Geoforest Park'. The package includes boat ride thru the river,3 caves visits, stopping for a swim at Pantai Pasir Panjang, see eagle feeding and even lunch/dinner. Nice isn't it? The only thing that is making us still thinking about it is the price....heheheheh...RM180 per person so that will be RM360 for both of us and that is a lot for now....hehehehe...so hopefully we have some extra ( not sure how to get the extra...) and can afford this package.

Well, thats the introduction for now. We'll be seeing again after the trip....huhuhu...

Cameron Highland Trip August 2009

Arrival.....we arrive at Bala's Chalet around 12 noon....we were inform that our room is not done yet so we have to wait....:(...but it is ok...im still happy....this is the entrance of the chalet....its and old english style home...belongs to i don't know who but it is run by Indians...so far i don't see any other race....

Mom, Dad, my other half, mak and the kids at the outdoor seating area for the Tea Room....they serve tea inthe evening but this is us just arriving at noon...so...not tea...

Lunch time at Brinchang.....it was cloudy and probably gonna rain in the evening....the food is ok but they should do better with the cleanliness.....not that clean..too bad coz a lot of people are eating here....

This is our room....it is like 'long house' with divider....hehehe...ours is at he end...next 2 doors is 'mak's and the kids and the next 2 is mom and dad....looks cozy doesn't it?

Amer and Diana...after mak believing my sister that this place is not cold anymore...they didn't bring thier sweater or anything thick....and their body are cold as ice.....poor thing...so i ask them to run around...hahahaha

Lepaking......the kids just running around and the elderly...just sitting around...heheh...this table is next to our room....our tea time...makan jajan...

Ready to go for breakfast and shopping and after that home.....Dad looks happy...i really hope all of them r happy...i really do...but this is one of those time Dad uses a blanket coz it was really cold....hehehe

We make a mistake not asking where the rooms are....it end up, we have to climb up a little bit...its ok for us and the kids but the elderly especially 'mak' is having a litlle problem with it but she keeps saying that it is ok.....i hope she's ok....sorry all...

Mom at one of the gardens..this place has a few garden where u can rest...thats y i loves this place so much and the best is...not so many people...coz there's not many rooms....hehehe

Breakfast......at Brinchang...waiting for the food to come...anywhere u go u'll find mamak stall/shop...so this is one of it.....it is actually freezing at that time...but everyone is just to hungry to bother...hahahah

Buying strawberries......the one im holding are the big size ones...3 packs is for RM20 and she gives away free 2 packs of small ones.....nice?.....of course...hehehe...so we borong la...

Mom buying vegetables....she took a long time to decide coz there's too many of them...if u can the packages...they sell the veges by pack....like 10 to 15 packs for RM10.....hehehe...cheap hah...

This is our last stop....the Cactus Valley kat Brinchang. This place grows hidrophonic salads and sell them cheap...heheheeh...and they also grows strawberries so they open a cafe and sell their products as food as well....strawberry sundae, waffle and strawberry and many more...u have to go there to experience it...:)

Hi all...its been long...ya i know...well..there's nothing much to tell so...no news is good news...hehehe. Anyway, today i just wanna tell u all about my trip this weekend. As always...Cameron Highland...my fav. place...we're coming again...but this time im taking my parents, my aunty who is also a mother to me....and a nephew and a niece. I hope this trip will be a good one and everything goes well.

Aqil Aisy - 5.8kg and still growing

My mom and my sister took Aqil 2 days ago for his next injection and health check. Now he already weight 5.8kg and getting smarter everyday. The only problem his mother is facing is he feeds a lot and his mom's milk is not filling his stomach enough. They tried to feed him powder milk but he's not able to consume it well.....it makes him vomit and constipation. Poor Akil.....nevermind dear...maybe in a few more months you'll be able to eat anything.....can't wait till the time comes coz surely i'll be feeding him with all the good food we have around us....heheheheh.

Day 1 - The beginning of my holiday (24th to 26th March 2009)

Finally....its 'D' day.....the packing...not an easy task if you're trying very hard not to bring too much but still want to bring all...hmmm....to make it worst...not to exceed the luggage weight we paid for....and to make it more worst to pack in an extra bag so that you can pack your 'CHOCOLATES' you'll get in Langkawi coz everybody knows...they are very cheap there...heehhehe......

At Jelatek LRT station....we planned the night before to park our car at 'Mak's place and walk to the station...but we never consider about rain.....yep...it rain on that morning after no rain for so many days.....so we had to take a cab instead...well...thats why people called it planning hah?

Since we are early....this is our breakfast....at Coffee Bean in KL Central...

Our Sky Bus ride....it was good and efficient, it depart every half and hour from KL Central and it only cost RM6.50 per person but we bought the ticket together with the flight ticket earlier...

Our flight ticket...see how much Air Asia safe on printing tickets....hahahha...thats how u do business.....save save save....in everything....

Still waiting.....at the departure lounge.....not so many people in the beginning but after a while...wow...and it is not even a school holiday....

Langkawi..........here we come.....

Almost there......aaaaaaaaaaaaa.........so excited.....can't wait to touch down......just beautiful...

'Touch down'...cool pic hah...heehehhe.....Kerel was saying that we flew on a pirated version of Air asia coz it is blue and not red as usual....hmmm..

Our room......yes it does look like the one in the web site...so they are telling the truth...hehehe...as for the pool...check out my hubby's blog....they are surely not lying....very nice but as any other hotels...there are flaws here and there but not a major or serious enough to spoil your holiday mood....fabulous...

Our first dinner in Langkawi...recommended by my cousin Din. No complain....it was really good and cheap...all of the food including drinks...cost RM33.00...cool hah? mind u...that fish is Garoupa cook as 3 rasa.....delicious...the place is called Sajian Aki....the opposite of Bon Ton.

Day 2- Island Hopping and enjoying it.....

After our breakfast...we still have time before our Island Hopping trip (which is schedule at 9.15am) so we had our first walk to the hotel beach...the sand is white and soft...and it is beautiful....we took a lot of photos and these are among the good ones.....lucky for us the day is bright and beautiful so all our photos turn out good...hehehe...jgn jealous...

After being pick-up by the Pangsajaya people, we were on the way to the islands.......but before that we were asked by the person in charge of our trip to wait at the lobby by 9.15am but they only came and picked us up at 9.40am...apparently...according to the hotel bellboy, this people are always late...hmm.....good thing we were on o good mood....by the way....never let a photographer take your photo when u reach the meeting point.....they actually did a little scamming there by taking your photo and print them on a plastic plate and sell them to you at RM10 each......yep...what people do.....it really pissed me off.....

Our first stop for today's trip....Island of the Pregnant Maiden...Tasik Dayang Bunting....all this while i've been hearing oabout this place...now i'm there...but you know what....what they didn't mention was...in order to get to the lake....you have to climb a lot of small steps in the beginning to get to the top but later to go down to the lake....the steps is as high as your knee....as for non Malaysian or people with long leg...no problem...imagine people like me...till today i still have the tension on my tight....hehehhehe....luckily i'm not the only one....and also...beware of the monkeys there....very aggresive....don't bring anything in plastic bags...they even have a warning sign about that...hehehe....but it is a nice place....and oh yes...don't forget to bring drinking water...you'll need them...

Eagle Feeding....the 2nd internary in the Island Hopping package....as u can see...there's a lot of eagle flying and diving to the surface to get their food....our camera can't capture the real beauty of this scenery....maybe next time we will...can't wait..

This is the only photo of this Island we went to as the final destination of the Island Hopping trip, the island of Singa Besar. The water here is as clear as crystal....well surely u can see from the photo but...really...you have to go there...our mistake is that we didn't know that we'll be there for an hour so we can actually swim...since we didn't bring any extra shirt or shorts....Kerel just jump in with his jeans....who want to missed it..look at the water.....would you want to miss it? There's only a jetty and a small shop and hut there...so that's why the sea so clean...but too bad the island is not that clean...we think maybe because there's not many dustbin around...so visitors just throw them everywhere or the monkeys did...yep...this place has them too...and a lot too...heheheh...be careful...

After the Island Hopping, we went back to our room for a short rest and continue our day with a drive towards the other side of the island...to see the cable car or Datai. We're not sure what this place is called...we called it the Marina....behind these boats far away is a building....there is where our former PM Mahathir shop is ...The Loaf....we passed by but didn't stop....anyway....when Kerel took this photo, we were at a petrol station, after taking the photos....he decided to pump the tyres....when he was pumping the 4th tyre, suddenly the pump broke, so the air in the tyre came out and puncture the tyre....so he asked the attendaces and they say the nearest station is about 10km from there....luckily we got a map with us so we decided to try the one near the cable car area...when we finally reach the place, to our dismay...it is on of those kampung station....so we just ask them if there's anywhere we can get our tyre pump-up.....they said down the road there's a mechanic shop.....yes...we're saved....we pump it and off to see the cable car.....for sure i'm not riding it so we just drive tru the parking place...hehehhee....then we decided to drive up to see Datai....

This is the entrance Lobby of the Datai.....heheheh...don't even dare to stop and walk in even for the view....to exclusive for us...so we only took some photos...but if you really wanna stay there make sure you really have a lot of money coz....it is really far away from anything else.....

Pantai Kok...this photo is taken at Pantai Kok...futher up from Pantai Cenang before you go to the Cable Car.....nothing much here but as you can see there's a lot of private yatch and sail boat behind Kerel.....you have to really go there yourself in order to see the beautiful scenery with all the boats and moutains as the background.....just splendid....

Day 3 - Last day but not the last time...

Hehehee......our rounding2 in Kuah town after breakfast.....we went for a ride...shopping and site seeing...we passed by the Jetty and boy.....Langkawi really has change a lot....but as far as the shops are concern...they are pretty much still the same......but i like it....at least we can still recognised it.....

This place is in Kuah town.....this is where we got our chocolates....yummy and of course it is cheaper than KL especially the imported ones....Kerel got his cigarettes from a different shop suggested by Din....which is cheaper as he said....thanks Din..

Din brought us to this place called 'Beras Terbakar', there's not much left only a plate and it is now placed in the glass box u can see in the pic., only the spot is gated but no burnt padi left.

At Beras Terbakar area as any other tourist place, there's a shopping area.....so what else...shop la!... Buying 'kain batik' from Abg 'Z'...very cheap....the cheapest is RM5 per piece but of course it is not the good ones....so i bought a better one for mom, dad, mak, Nora and me of course....Kerel doesn't want any....not the 'kain pelikat' man.....:)

Arrived at Langkawi Airport to fly home.....bye bye Langkawi....see you next time....and next time we'll stay longer...hehehehe

We've checked-in the bags but still have time before checking-in ourself so we decided to have a drink with Din first....at Starbuck, Langkawi Airport.

Finally...we landed at LCCT at around 9.30pm...our plane park at the last end of the runaway...so we had to walk for another good 15minutes to arrive at the arrival terminal....what a day...feeling happy and sad at the same time..happy to be home but sad having to leave Langkawi.

The Matta Fair Result

The room.....hopefully this is the one we'll be staying in once we're there....

As i've mention, yesterday we went to the Matta Fair and we've got quite a lot of brochures from the travel agents and some from the hotel itself. Once we've collected them, we head out and found us a place and rearrange everything according to our liking. Then we pick the final 3 and after that we end up with this company called Pansajaya ..(i think), they had an interesting offer or package. There's a few choices from 3 star hotel to 5 star, we end up with a 4 star. We end up with Federal Villa Beach and Resort.
Anyway, the package includes 3days 2nights stay, 48hours of car usage, greet and meet at the airport and breakfast. In all costs us RM460 and we included a package of Island hoping and eagle feeding costs, RM60 ( a buy1 free 1). All in RM520.
Our earlier plan of staying in Sunset beach will actullay cost us around RM590. Although the difference is only RM70 but the value interm of comfort and others is much better. So all in all, we think got a good bargain.
So, all i have to do now is wait for the time to come and off we go....can't wait. Well thats all for now, i'll be posting more about this trip once i got back from the trip....hope it doesn't rain during our stay there...heheheh

My Cousins Vacation...

Hmmm...this will be the first time i'm able to blog in one of my relatives vacation pictures. This cousin of mine is Mohd Zakwan and his wife Kak Ina. They're from Sg. Petani, Kedah. This trip was on March 2008. New Zealand....yep...that's where they went. I don't know how long they were there. I am sooo....jealous of them...well...as you can see...New Zealand is one of my dream place to go...so...i should be jealous. Anyway, i know they had a wonderful time there and i hope one day i can go too...hehehe...I don't have much of their photo's....only this few which i took from their blog....i am sure they have more.

My dream vacation hotel in Langkawi. Tanjung Rhu, Langkawi, Kedah

Tanjung Rhu, what can i say about this place? I have no experience of staying there but i have been there...well, only from the Lobby to the beach. This is one of the place which is in the top ranking of all the hotels in Langkawi, just after Datai and Andaman. But from the review of most tourists who've been there, this place is much better than Datai or Andaman. The first thing they repeatedly mention about is the staffs....yep...the staffs there apparently are giving a very good services to their visitors. They even know your name just after a day staying there..how about that. The price of course is beyond my capability but they have this amazing packages. You will have to stay there at least 3 nights to enjoy these fabulous package. For a sum of money (min RM5000) you are covered with everything, when i say everything i mean almost everything, accommodation (of course) + food and drinks (at anytime you want and anywhere...room or pool side or beach side) + usage of all the non engine water facilities. How about that....just imagine...if you are the food person...can u imagine how much you can eat and if you're a beach buff, you can kayak the whole day if u like without paying any kind of rent. The only thing you have to pay extra is if you're a alcohol drinking person and if you want to impressed your other half with a beach side BBQ dinner. There's a lot of packages offer, just prepare the money and you'll be treated like a King and Queen. Maybe one day i'll be able to enjoy this place.....hope my wish will come true. My Next Trip

Langkawi Island, Kedah. This is where my next trip will be. Well due to economy situation now, local holiday is all we can afford right now BUT, this place is our favorite place in Malaysia, well one of it, right after Cameran Highland. Anyway the suppose trip will be on the 24th March until 26th March. My husband somehow manage to get us cheap Airasia ticket, return ticket costs us almost RM300 so...not bad, only after that we found out that we could have cheaper ones, around RM50 less but this is still good.

I am aiming to stay at this one place we found when we were there about 6 years ago. It is call Sunset Beach Resort. When we first saw it, the price of each room was only RM80 per night but now it will costs us starting from RM160 to 300 per night. We tried to get the cheaper ones of course but it is full so we are going for the next one, it will cost us RM190 plus RM30 for surcharge (which i don't know what the reason for coz it is not even a weekend!) in total RM220 (including breakfast).

It is a bit too much for a small chalet but wait till you see the place. I will attach some pictures of this place and you will understand why i really like this place.

But this all also depends on another thing we will be checking out this weekend. The famous MATTA Fair. We were hoping that maybe there's any kind of promotion rate/package to any of the hotels in langkawi. Who knows, maybe we can get some good price for a 5 star hotel. I wish....hehehe...but if there's none then it is definitely Sunset Beach Resort. So far there's a lot of good reviews from all the tourist local and international who've been there, of course there's a few not so good ones but in ratio, the good ones wins. Muhammad Aqil Aish 1 month old

Last weekend we went back to My mom's place. Nowadays our attention falls on our new member, my first nephew Aqil. He's been feeding on his mom's milk so he has gain a lot of weight. He looks a little bit different now. A lot chubbier.....heheheh....but still cute. The last time I went there he appenrently didn't want to sleep the whole day, he was fighting with his sleep demon trying very hard to stay awake. He did fall asleep a couple of time but just for 10 to 15 minutes then he woke up again. According to my sister, sometimes he does that and sometimes he just sleep one whole day. Tommorow he will be one month old. Happy 1 month old Aqil......

Anyway here's a few photos we took from my hp, so it wasn't good. Next time, i'll put a better ones.

23hb Januari 2009, Faizal selamat diijabkabulkan dengan Liza buah hati nyer...Aku pun tumpang gembira......yer la berapa punya lama da diaorang berkawan....hheheh....jangan hah...nanti kena jual. Anyway...i just viewed Faizal's blog, so i took a few of his ceremony photos which i like...i like a whole lot of it but this is among the best. What i don't understand is, why on earth that everytime wedding photos are taken by professional photographer, the poses have to be like a standard pose? Is it compulsory to pose like that? I really need to ask some of the photographers i knew about this matter. It's not that it is not nice but why? Oh yes...i didn't make it to the wedding...sorry Faizal....family comes first....i know you of all the people will understand. Anyway...here is the photos i've taken from his blog. Weight : 2.54 kg.....pretty small but sure is long..hehehe

Physical : Long fingers, long legs and very hairy.....but still adorable

Delivered : By cesarian due to him not in the right position.....to lazy to move i guess...hehehe

Mother : My beloved sister Wan Norashikin bt Wan Harabaah.....who is probably thinking of loosing her weight now....

My Chinese New year Holiday

Hai,

It's now 2009. How time flies. Anyway...Happy New Year to all my family and friends. This year, it is the Ox year for Chinese calender and it is also my year and of course my hubby's too.

As u can see, above is a pic of 'padi field'. No this photo was not taken by us but from flickers (as usual). I post it on because that is where we went to last Chinese New Year holiday.

Actually we never plan on going for any trip but one day I called my dear cousin Zufri to asked if he is going back to his hometown (Sungai Petani) for the 4 days holiday and he said yes. So after thinking for a couple of days we decided to take a ride with him and his family to Sungai Petani. We stayed over my Aunt's place for 2 nights before proceeding to Alor Star.

We went to Alor star, driven by Zufri's brother, Abang Wan.

My mom and my 'mak' was there since the week before for a family 'kenduri'. We stayed over at 'Cicaba's place. Originally the plan was to stay for a night and comes back to SP with Zufri after the 'kenduri' but asked by my 'mami Kiah' to spent another night there, so, the plan changed.

The last night we were there, we had a nice BBQ with our next door neighbour 'Pak Id' and his family. We had chicken, mutton, fish, prawn, cockle and squid plus some green and potato salad and also some friend rice. We managed to finish everything up except for some of the salads.

This time, we were taken to different places for food other then the usuals. My dearest sister Ana brought us to 2 different eating place which is ok for me. I think i prefer the place called 'Rimba' but the only thing that spoiled everything was the weather. It was freaking hot. Even for the Kedahan it is hot imagine what it did to us.

The usual place we used to have breakfast is closed due to the holiday, so we had at a different place called Pak Tuan (i think) and it is ok too. I like the small 'cakoi' with the sweet sauce. I was telling my husband how we are so close to Langkawi yet so far coz we can't make the trip there and it is also due to the holiday. As usual, during school holidays....Langkawi will be fully book and prices are way up high.

Last night after chatting with my hubby, we decided to do a trip to Langkawi this coming March. We survey the flight there via Air Asia and it only cost Rm9, so in total for 2 adult will be around RM320 return ticket (including luggage and all). We also browse tru for some car rental and hotels and we came up with a budget of RM1200 for everything on a 3 days 2 night trip for 2. Flight, car rental, accamodation, food and shopping. Sounds good to me. So, hopefully this will be our next trip of this year. We are planning to do more trips in the future. Hopefully our wish will come true.

I've known him for more that 10 years, i think, his name is Norani (mcm perempuan kan?..heheheeh...jgn mare..) anyway, i was online with him today and he told me about his trip to Hatdyai, Thailand. He went with 2 of his buddy (i don't know them), and he said that the town looks like Penang. So, he sent some photos, it does look like Penang!!!

Anyway, the most surprising part is how my friend here looks! He actually looks better than before...heheheh...jgn marah hah...!! but seriously, he does! He said he has to work out because of his health but what ever the reason is my friend, it turn out good for you! Happy for you! Here is some of the photos he sent...

Christmas Holiday

Hello,

Its Christmas time again. This time it is a long holiday for us in the office. This is because it falls on Thursday, and on Monday there's another public holiday, so our Boss declared the Friday as holiday....nice...so we got about 5 days off. Cool hah? Well, my husband and I wish we could go somewhere for holiday but it turn out that he got tons of work to do, so i guess we'll be staying home then.

The only thing that is happening is, on the Christmas day, Effendi (my nephew) will be getting engage to a girl from Klang. So we will be there and i was told that I might see some of my Uncle and Aunty from North, missed them!

Eni send some news to us from Sweden and some photos but we can't open them somehow. I'll have to go to her Friendster to see them. Anyway, she's doing fine!

Assalamualaikum,

Hai, How is everybody? Sorry for not updating my blog for a while. I have been busy and there's nothing much to tell anyway. Wow....i just notice that it has been a month now since i last blog in. Well, nothing much happen except for a few thing,

1) My sister in-law Eni has left us to further her studies in Sweden. She left on the 6th of December 2008. Supposedly she left us on the 29th November but poor thing, she got sick and have to postponed it. Anyway, we just got news from her a few days ago via SMS that she is doing fine. She said that the house is good, the weather is freezing but not snowy, the scenery is great, the food is expensive (as we expected) and it will take her 40 minutes to go to her University. Right now she still can't use her internet until she buys some wires for the connection. I honestly can't wait to hear from her especially the photos she promised to sent. Just hope that she didn't forget them. I also have a bunch of question to ask. Wonder what she's doing now. Maybe she's preparing for a journey which was plan by her housemate there since the classes will only starts next year. Anyway...i hope she will have fun there. Good Luck to you Eni.

2) My Uncle from the United State came over on the 29th November 2008. Uncle Klaus i call him. He is a Jerman guy who got married to my Aunty some 35 years ago and are now based in New Jersey, United State. He was suppose to go to Bangkok but an unfortunate thing happen. Bangkok Airport got BOMBED! Lucky for him because when that happen, he was still flying so once he stop for transit in Narita, Tokyo, he was told about the incident and have to stay and wait there until it is ok to fly to Bangkok. He was there for 3 days when he decided to fly here instead and wait. At least he got the chance to except the key to their apartment which they bought a few years back. The apartment is in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur, infront of Tasik Permaisuri. It is on the top floor, 15th floor. Anyway, we got the chance to look and comment on the apartment for the Developer to rectify. He then told me that they wanted me to do any kind of renovation needed to make their apartment works and be able to live in immediately for them when they come again somewhere middle of next year. I hope they will be happy with the proposal i'll have for them. Now is just a matter of getting a measured plan for me to do the layout. Last I heard from him was yesterday via email saying that he is fine in Bangkok and will be flying home today. Oh! I forgot to mention it, he manage to fly to Bangkok, he left on the 7th December 2008 using Air Asia. Ya! He missed the Hari Raya Haji but he was around for the Kenduri Kesyukuran that Saturday. We just missed Aunty Ida. Wish she was around to. I am sure she'll be happy.

Well, hope to see both of you next year and this time, you'll have your own place to settle down and we can come and visit you at your own place. Can't afford to visit you in the State so, this will do for now. Hehehehehe!

Yang ni masa kami kat Indoor Theme Park dia...ok la jugak tempat nih....masa ni kami tak pergi yang outdoor...rasa mcm tak berbaloi sebab aku ni bukan nyer nak naik sgt benda2 nih....gayat tuh....so suamiku ni pun tak pergi la jugak....Kami end up..lepak2...minum...naik yg ala2 mcm ok jer...pas tu blah...Nasib baik masa tuh kawan Kerel ada apartment kat situ....dia offer kami stay..apa lagi...stay la 3 hari 2 malam..for free tuh...mana nak dapat...tapi sekrg dia dah tak kerja situ...dah balik kampung. The next time kami naik masa office trip tapi gambar dia tak leh load lagi...maybe next time.

My beloved husband, Khairil Anuar Salleh Hudin....masa kami ker Genting Highland somewhere tahun lepas. Kalau nak tau...masa ni kami kononnya nak breakfast la...pergi2 kat kaunter dia...makan breakfast ala orang putih lagi murah dari breakfast tempatan. Ada ka Nasi Lemak bungkus tu dia jual RM8 sebungkus....giler aper...so kami pun breakfast orang putih la hari tuh....hehehe

Ni gambar aku ngan adik ipar aku yang termuda tp bukan yg paling kecik...heheheh jangan marah yer Yan.....Nama dia Noraihan binti Salleh Hudin....sekarang ni tgh belajar lagi kat UTM, Skudai,Johor. Tak lama lagi habis la tuh....masa ni aku tak sempat sgt sembang ngan dia sebab masa hari tuh....aku datang ikut belah family aku sebab aku kena jadi driver utk orang tua aku. Adik2 aku yg lain tak ikut.

Ni pulak gambar tempat peranginan yang akan aku dan suami ku pergi dalam hujung tahun ni atau awal tahun depan. Tak tau lagi....tengok rezeki macamana. Tempat ni kat Pulau Langkawi. Pulau ni jadik fav. aku dan suami ku coz....sambil jalan2 tengok tempat boleh shopping sekali....tu yg best tuh. Ada orang tak suka sebab kata laut dia tak cantik sangat. Tapi silap diaorang la...saper suruh pergi belah Teluk Cenang, pergi la belah Andaman. Perh......marvelous, aku pernah pergi sekali tapi untuk melawat jer la....tak mampu nak tido sana...mahal giler.....tapi laut dia ala-ala macam dalam postkad. Kalau korang tak caya, kumpul duit, pergi sana. Mesti kagum. Masa aku sampai tempat tu masa tuh...rasa macam tak caya yang Malaysia ada tempat cam tuh....caya lah ....

Untuk kawan ku Faizal yg nak kahwin awal tahun depan ni.....kumpul la duit untuk honeymoon sekali....hehehehe....boleh bawak bini gi sana....siap leh shopping brg dapur sekali....heheheeh
